Five $500 awards will be given to the top students based on their artistic merit, quality of craftsmanship, and clarity of purpose and goals to be used towards professional and artistic development.

Students in grades 9th-12th who attend school in Tulsa County are eligible to apply. Are you into hip hop? Apply! Working on your cello skills? Apply! Photographer or filmmaker? Apply! Honing your creative writing skills or spoken word poetry? Apply!

Discover digital photography at ahha!  March 2019  In this course, you will learn the nuts and bolts of operating your camera, editing photographs, and printing.  You’ll also consider concepts such as composition, lighting, and design. Previous Photoshop experience is required. Participants will need to bring their own DSLR camera to class. The instructor is Antone Dolezal, an American photographer whose work has been exhibited widely.
Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, ahha Tulsa provides camp, class, and workshop scholarships to currently enrolled K–12 students with demonstrated financial need. To apply for a scholarship for this program, please complete this form (do not complete registration at the link to the right). A letter of support from a caseworker or school counselor is required for consideration.

Coach Mike Gundy adds the #10 player in the Oklahoma's Super 30 recruit rankings to his arsenal with the signing of Tulsa Booker T. Washington HS senior Demarco Jones, Jr. who will join BTW grads, running back Justice Hill, defensive end Jordan Brailford and safety Malik Givens, on the roster at Oklahoma State University.

Submissions for the 41st annual Nimrod Literary Awards are now open. The Katherine Anne Porter Prize for Fiction and the Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry have First Prizes of $2,000 and Second Prizes of $1,000, along with publication in Nimrod and a trip to Tulsa for our Awards Ceremony and Conference for Readers and Writers. Submissions are open to all U.S. residents, and all finalists and semi-finalists will also be considered for publication. Deadline: April 30th. 

General Submissions: Also, general submissions to the magazine are once again open for 2019. General submissions are open internationally and will be open until November 30th.
